Le Restaurant Verte in Nuremberg

On an evening when there was bad news for the hospitality industry, we had a fantastic meal in a very cordial, professional and enthusiastic environment. With this memory we can continue for a while and hopefully the nice team of Le Restaurant will keep it up in the coming weeks. These kinds of restaurants with this degree of creativity and purity really need to be supported.

Rarely have I been spoken to in such a rude manner. I wanted to make a reservation for our wedding anniversary but first had a question about the menu. "Sir, I am now very busy with a dinner", was the response I got on the phone. With a deep sigh I was then asked what I wanted to know. Somewhat taken aback, I replied, "never mind". Then I was told: "Well, then you are not coming!" and the connection was disconnected. Bewildered I called back and again I was told: "Go to another guy"! Apparently, in these difficult times for the catering industry, this case can afford such behavior. But I will indeed go to someone else for my wedding day!

Fine restaurant, nothing to criticize.

Despite these difficult times, LeRestaurant manages to maintain its quality for 100%. We had a really great evening last night, really delicious food!

This is a small restaurant with wonderful food and wine, and personal warm service. I have had the pleasure of dining here twice. Both times exceptional. They remembered me the second time. The second occasion was a business dinner and my global guests were duly impressed and we had a fantastic and relaxed evening. I will be back!

The owner told us we were too loud. The food was not great. We left before the mains arrived. Ruined our whole trip.

Everything is right here: original, tasty dishes in a warm, home-like atmosphere with an excellent price / quality ratio. Special wines in an affordable package. The service is a cozy club of male brothers from distinguished chef Jan de Wit himself to popie-jopie-Jordie ;-) Has been on my list for a long time and should have gone much earlier!

The restaurant and the food is really nice. Though I would like to warn you for the ridiculous rip off I had while I got the check. We were a party of 4 adults and a child, had a set menu and 2 bottle of the expensive wines. In the receipt I had a still water for 35 euro! Though we even haven’t finished one bottle of water and a one decaf coffee for 9.5 euro. I have not experienced this unreasonable pricing anywhere in Amsterdam and it us completely spoiled the whole experience. Be careful! And check the menu and price before ordering as it is completely not reasonable. UPD. Yes, and you overcharged me even considered that water service 5,50 it should come to 22 euro but not 35! The coffee price is 6,5 not 9 and you served the sweets as "compliment" from the restaurant that turned out to be extra in my bill. I think even 15 euro is not a fair price for less than 1 bottle of water. It is the first restaurant who hide their prices for such simple things. Thank you.

What a party to dine here, everything is right! The atmosphere, the service, the chefs who serve the food themselves and of course the delicious food with well-advised matching wines. Every dish was so tasty! Also take dietary requirements into account, are very flexible and are happy to think along. Rarely had such a fantastic evening in a restaurant.

A multi-course exercise in flavors and textures. A nicely presented set of mouthwatering morsels of beef, fish, pork, root vegetables, and complemented by a well rounded wine selection. There was a lot of attention to detail with the ingredients, preparation, and plating. Every dish comes with an explanation worth listening to. Highly recommended experience.

Delicious eaten. High quality but in relaxed setting. some comment: I had asked for a menu without meat but there was meat at the appetizer. Suggestion to give this to the table companion. Was ok but could have been better resolved

The best meal and experience for many years. Great food, beautifully presented. Very warm and friendly staff creating a welcoming atmosphere. Really good wines at reasonable prices recommended for us. We will definitely visit again.

In a word: wow! Best Culinary Night Ever. Starting with the service; the atmosphere is casual, pleasant, there is laughter and the hosts give the tables that little bit of extra attention that makes you feel right at home. Afterwards; the food. From the appetizers to the last beautiful friandises one big party! Surprising flavors combined (you often wonder; how does the chef come up with this again ?!), beautiful layout and served one after the other at the perfect pace. With a few more "experiments" from the chef as gifts in between. And then: the wines! Because of the wonderful stories of the owner who told with so much passion about the bottles, you already had water in your mouth before you even tasted the wine. And that was not disappointing! We were also continuously donated generously. It was an evening-filling sensation and I am still enjoying it. LeRestaurant; thank you! We will be back for sure.

Every year my birthday is an extra large party with dinner at this delicious restaurant! If only I had my birthday again soon ... -------------------------------------------------- -------- The restaurant was closed last year but is now open again at the new location: JIEHOE! We would like to visit again in June. -------------------------------------------------- --------- Eaten yesterday in the new location. What a joy it was again! Every course is delicious, with matching wines. These guys (and girl!) Work in heaven part time !!! I would like to book again for next year.

Just amazing in every way! Best restaurant in Amsterdam hands down. You will pay a premium for the experience however.

Never go there, I had a very bad experience when I went to dine at this place a few weeks ago: fixed menu with ackward flavors, no possibility for alternative dish, choice of sine highly questionable, and the most problematic, a very bad service and aggressivity with no reasons. From french standard, does not deserve to be in Michelin guide. Triple zero. If you wish to enjoy Amsterdam, urgently choose another restaurant.

Beautiful little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Good, fun and personal service, also from the chef. Easily one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam. Go! (Only 8 or 9 tables so make a reservation)

No wonder; that only foreign guests are positive; they do not recognize the accent of very flat people; or is it precisely this folklore that they are looking for; a few very flat people who broke through a downstairs "dwelling" in a working-class neighborhood without doing too much. (see what Joop Braakhekke did with an old garage). And the most basic forms of politeness are strange to them. With this kind of people everything MUST also; 2 times we HAD to put a corridor in our mouth in one go; you MUST also take a 7-course menu; there is no other choice; The consequence is; that you are roughly interrupted 7 times during the table conversation with the summation: "You MUST now be quiet" (literally!) they must be. "Extensively" tell about the next course; at a real restaurant this corridor would be an amuse. Even more annoying; that those summations did not take place 7 times; but 14 times! Because with every "course" of this menu (€ 78.50) "some" wine was served; we first thought; that this was part of the menu; but it turned out to be an extra wine arrangement; this MUST also. In short; nothing ends up having a table conversation. And what you say to each other; is taken care of by the staff and responded to. Then it turned out that the € 600.00; that you have lost by default for 4 people; could not be paid by credit card; I made the remark to my colleagues: "Such types prefer to let the money disappear in their pocket in cash" this remark; whispered to my colleagues; I stood on a Scheldt canon. If I had not been invited; Immediately after entering the broken-through house I had turned around. Was the offer worth all this?
